Y’all think your professors are salty or petty? My freshman year my intro to anthropology prof overheard some dudebro say some homophobic shit and altered the entire semester’s plan to accommodate three new lectures about homophobia and gender identity and presentation in various cultures. This is to say three ADDITIONAL lectures to go with the one she already have planned.

Important addition: She changed the wallpaper on her computer to a picture her with her wife and two kids. So the first thing we saw when we came into class every day for the remainder of the semester was basically their christmas card

That ain’t salty, that’s her being my hero

really depressing how trans men are infantilized and their masculinity is often dismissed, and trans women are seen as agressive, brutish, and generally unladylike.

also depressing how trans people are agressively fetishized and sexualized in all contexts, even while their identities are disrespected and dismissed

trans people deserve better

i went in to a cells at work thread on 4chan’s /a/ because i can’t help but immerse myself in sludge and the whole thread was anons talking about how they’ve been eating better and drinking more water because they want the anime girls that live inside of them to be happier

shinzo abe you son of a bitch, you did it.

cells at work is an anime about anthropomorphic cells living in a human body, depicted as a large city

otaku on 4chan watched the show and, in a desire to make the cells in their bodies happy, have started to live healthier lives

shinzo abe, the prime minister of japan and noted son of a bitch, actually managed to get anime viewers to start taking care of themselves through anime

Mission accomplished, now fuck already.

baby steps, mister prime minister.

easy-hard:

You’re allowed to feel bad and have a bad days. It’s okay to feel this way! If you’re feeling upset? That’s fine! Just let it all out and keep going! If you’re feeling burned out? That’s fine! Take some rest! Go for a walk or find people to hang out with!
And if you’re feeling like a burden to other people, YOU’RE NOT! There’s always someone out there who will listen to you or even feel the same way! Just try to reach out and ask for help!
And, if you’re in your deepes and darkes times right now. DON’T GIVE UP. Keep up that good fight and try your best, and I guarantee, that everything will get better eventually.
I love you and I believe in you! ❤

EVERYBODY SHOULD READ THIS!!!!!!!!!
REBLOG…IT CAN SAVE A LIFE OR TWO!!!
WARNING: Some knew about the red light on cars, but not Dialing 112.
An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on. Lauren’s parents have always told her to never pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc.

Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called, 112 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she was and there weren’t, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way.

Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.
I never knew about the 112 Cell Phone feature. I tried it on my AT&T phone & it said, “Dialing Emergency Number.”
Especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going on to a safe place.

*Speaking to a service representative at Bell Mobility confirmed that 112 was a direct link to State trooper info. So, now it’s your turn to let your friends know about “Dialing, 112”

You may want to send this to every Man, Woman & Youngster you know; it may well save a life.

This applies to ALL 50 states
PLEASE PASS ALONG TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY, IT CAN SAVE A LIFE….

Works in Canada too guys, just tried it!

Reblogging for anyone of the feminine preference that follow me. (Or for general knowledge.)

112 is actually a universal emergency number, it works all over the world. So if you don’t know the specific regional emergency number (like 911) just dial 112 and you will get help.

A lot of times, I feel like I’ll never get any better in my art. But then I look back through my binders of my old drawings…

square-stingray:

The first one here, is from 2012. I was 14 then.

{ “ what are arm joints?” }

These ones are from 2014.

Then 2015.

Slowly, you can see my style of drawing developing..

2016..

2017, first appearance of one of my webcomic characters.

and..  a few from this year, 2018..

and here, Compare the one from 6 years ago.

so, next time you think you’ll never get any better, remember this: progress doesn’t happen overnight. It happens over a course of years. but it does happen.

Keep drawing. you’ll get where you want to be soon enough, my friend.
