anyways fuck america for not educating students about the aids crisis whatsoever

my drama teacher mentioned to us “most of my friends from college are dead” and I knew right away what he meant. he explained “I was a drama major in the 1980s” and still no one else in the class understood. he explained a little bit about the aids crisis, but these kids had no idea before. it is truly heartbreaking to hear about it, and especially to see it being erased.

So Tumblr is now auto-reblogging adverts onto my dash

If you see them, tell me and I’ll delete them. I don’t condone that shit

I was wondering why the fuck you reblogged something about shampoo.
yeah, same here. if you see adverts on my dash, let me know ASAP

I have adblocker and see NO ads, so if I reblog an ad, it wasn’t me, please let me know and LINK me, cuz I’ll never see it otherwise.

U can tell that skincare culture is makeup culture disguised bc not a single syllable of it is directed at men, the crustiest people on this earth

the fucked up thing is, when 12 yr old girls with perfect child skin but maybe a puberty zit or two see those commercials telling them that even slightly flawed skin is a problem to be aggressively fixed and start scrubbing the shit out of their face with high pH drugstore cleansers and astringent toners, they destroy their skins natural moisture barrier and make their skin more permeable to bacteria which can actually CAUSE acne, when creates an endless cycle of spending where they spend the rest of their lives desperately trying to fix the problems that the products caused in the first place

listen.

don’t vote for the best candidate.

vote for the one most likely to remove a republican.

it’s that simple.

Vote them out.

Vote for the candidate that sees every person as a human being.

not if they can’t win, buddy. i’m serious. LISTEN. VOTE OUT THE REPUBLICANS. EVEN IF THAT MEANS VOTING IN SOME REGULAR ASSHOLES.

if the candidate who sees every person as a human being is green party, then you vote for the democrat who sees every person as a stepping stone, because unless we get rid of the republican who sees every person as a target a lot of us are going to goddamn die. people are dying already. like, not to guilt you, but if we don’t get a democratic majority in the house and senate ASAP we’re screwed.

it doesn’t fucking matter if you voted for Jesus Actual Christ if he was running on a penny ante party ticket. we need you to vote for Joe Slick Bastard Democrat instead, because there is no such thing as a green party majority in the senate, do you understand? there will not be a green party speaker of the house. green party will not get to put up supreme court nominees.

if you vote for the Good People instead of the democrats, we’re gonna end up back in this toilet bowl again, only deeper this time because the republicans will take it as a mandate to do whatever they want.

take a deep breath, put on rubber gloves, and touch the poop. don’t be precious.

In the primary you vote for the best candidate. In the general you vote for the person who can remove the Republican. You have your chance to do both.

In the primary you vote for the best candidate. In the general you vote for the person who can remove the Republican.

I read on another post “this is about setting the difficulty of our boss battle for the next two years” and that is absolutely true.  You’re not voting for someone you agree with, you’re not voting for someone who is perfect or great or even good.

You are voting for the person who is a) going to get elected and b) is easiest to fight for what you need.  Until we move the needle, the best we can expect is ‘the best of all enemies’ and not ‘an ally’.

VOTE OUT THE REPUBLICANS. EVEN IF THAT MEANS VOTING IN SOME REGULAR ASSHOLES.

Nevaeh now wears a scarf to cover several bald spots and her singed
hair. She was left with first-degree burns, but it could have been worse
according to Tanya Robinson, Nevaeh’s mother.

“The doctor told me her hairstyle saved her life,” Tanya recalled. “Had it been different, she might not be here.”

This isn’t the first time Nevaeh has experienced bullying. Two years ago, another student broke her thumb.

I’m walking into that school like

Hate crime. It should qualify as one.

Nevaeh is thirteen years old. This happened at Gompers School in the Philadelphia School District. The school district has not issued any comment, but y’all can make yours:
