So, as ya’ll have probably seen from my many many many reblogs, my car recently died!
I am trying to get enough for a decent used car to replace it, with a goal of $2500~ already I’ve had a bunch of donations and am at nearly 1/5th of my goal!
So, at the encouragement of @whatthehellsarah, I am offering sketches to anyone who donates any amount to my Ko-fi! the sketches will look like thus:
Sketchy lines, flat colors, maybe some shinies, with a flat background!
This is a serious emergency for me, as I cannot work without a car (I substitute teach students with Special Needs) and I cannot get my mom to her doctors appointment (I have been her primary caretaker for the past 5 years).Â
Please, anything will help, and you get a cute sketch of any character you want out of it!Â
Also, if you cant donate, PLEASE REBLOG!!!
Car = FRIED (cause it literally caught fire)
Sketchies = ADORBS
Ko-Fi = LINKED
I AM FORCIBLY OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
You know what- to my ml fans out there- if you donate and help her out send me like a screenshot of your donation and i will write you a short drabble of any pairing you like! Just donate! Please!
Anything helps! If all my followers even just gave $1 she would meet her goal. She is the kindest person i have ever had the pleasure of knowing so if you can- please help out!
OMG mr-hawkmoth that is an excellent idea.Â
Fuck here, mind if i make it twice as beneficial? Anyone who sends you a screenshot is also eligible for another drabble from me! I’ll even make a 3D model of something if that’s what it takes. JUST DONATE PLEASE!
“When it says Advance Australia Fair, it means advance the white people,“ said the completely reasonable 9 year old girl who just wanted to express an opinion in a simple and non-disruptive way.
Instead of accepting this and moving on, several politicians have crawled over each other to publicly shame a little girl cos I guess they’ve got fucking nothing better to do…
“IT’S RUDE NOT TO STAND FOR THE AAAAAANTHEEEEMMM! WHO CARES WHY SHE’S DOING IT!” responded Aboriginal Envoy, Tony Abbott, showing exactly why he was appointed the role. “KICK HER OUT OF SCHOOL!”
Abbott has recently been trying to find a new person’s life to ruin after successfully ending the career of his nemesis Malcolm Turnbull. I guess this little girl has now become his nemesis.
Hanson, a big proponent for increased freedom of speech has demonstrated her desire to be free to say whatever she wants by harassing a small child.
“She’s brainwashed! BRAINWASHED!” Yelled Pauline Hanson, who has long since forgotten how to regulate her voice. “AUSTRALIANS ALL LET US UNITE TO SHAME AND ATTACK THIS LITTLE GIRL!”
The parents of the girl have said she’s done a remarkable job of handling the controversy.
“I’d call all these politicians launching vitriol at my daughter all children but…” the father of the 9 year old girl said. “You know. Seems a bit unfair to the kids to be lumped in with that kind of group.”
Someone needs to invent the button that will bring you back to your scrolling spot when you accidentally hit the button that brings you to the top of the page after you’ve already been scrolling through your app for way too long.
@SaraSoueidan: Dear men, This is how you greet a veiled Muslim woman (a Hijabi). Hand on your chest, not offering to shake hers. 🙋
so prominent BLM activist deray mckesson just retweeted this which i think is super cool for various reasons :)))
I did not know this. Is it OK for a non Muslim woman to shake hands with a Hijabi? Or do we do the hand on chest thing too?@popcanpoli
hey so i don’t wear a hijab and i’m not muslim so i definitely don’t have the authority to answer this question (or any other questions i’ve been getting abt this) (i’m just a lil canadian politics blog i didn’t expect this to blow up lol)Â
BUT here are some tweets by the original tweeter (who wears a hijab) that clarify some things

This is also good if you’re meeting an Orthodox Jewish person who’s not the same gender as you!  Not all Orthodox Jews hold by this restriction, and many consider it a permissible exception to shake hands in a formal greeting context; I’d guess this is parallel to Ms. Soueidan’s last-quoted tweet above.  And as that says, the sensible thing is to wait for initiation.
