so since iruma and junko have pink hair but people call it “blonde,” and in certain CGs maizono’s hair is black while sometimes celeste’s is blue… i have a hc that most of the characters actually have a natural hair colour but its just anime art style making it look all bright

i hope these make you as uncomfortable as they make me :/

The sign of high quality is the fact the book was banned by the government. Trash literature NEVER EVER had any troubles with the law.

FARENHEIT 451 IS ON THE BANNED BOOKS LIST???

IT’S LITERALLY ABOUT THE SOCIETAL DANGERS OF BANNING/OUTLAWING/BURNING BOOKS

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME

That’s the reason it’s on the bloody list.

BECAUSE IT’S ABOUT HOW BANNING AND BURNING BOOKS IS WRONG.

It is the civic duty of everyone to read banned books.

Wh-why is ‘Where the WIld Things Are’ on a list of banned books???? What could anyone possibly find offensive about that book that they feel the need to ban it????

Defiance of a parent, is my guess.

Nope. It’s banned because of “witchcraft/supernatural elements” bc Christian mothers are fucking rabid about that kind of shit

WHAT FUCKING YEAR AM I LIVING IN?!?!?!

Some info about the Banned Book list:

This isn’t a list of books our government has restricted state or country-wide.

These are books that a group or individual has tried to have banned from a library or school

The ALA Office for Intellectual Freedom compiles a list each year of books that were banned or challenged, along with details on why they were challenged and if people succeeded in banning them (x)

Their website has free resources for teaching about censorship (x) and they do a Banned Book Week every September to encourage people to read banned and challenged books
